📖 语法 Grammar

了 (le) for completed actions: 我打扫了客厅 (I cleaned the living room). 了 indicates that the action is finished.

Verb + 一下 (yīxià) to soften a request: 你擦一下桌子好吗？ (Could you wipe the table?) 一下 makes the request polite and casual.

有 (yǒu) to indicate existence: 地上有垃圾 (There is garbage on the floor). 有 shows that something exists in a place.

还 (hái) meaning 'also' or 'in addition': 我打扫了客厅，还洗了衣服 (I cleaned the living room and also washed clothes). 还 connects two actions.
